    We had our pellet stove installed by this business a few years ago. We recently had a few issues and when we called, had to leave voicemails which is fine but our calls were never returned! The only way we were able to actually speak with someone was to call back! When we finally spoke with someone, we had to wait over a month( not using our stove) before anyone could come! The man who came was very polite and took his time to thoroughly clean the stove and the pipes. I did inform him of the terrible grinding noise it was making and even played a video of it. He said he didn’t know what it was and that the stove was fine and left. This cost us $235.00 for it NOT to be fixed! Less than a couple weeks later, that awful grinding sound was back and it caused the stove to shut down on its own. So much for nothing being wrong! Once again, I called and leave a message and never received a call back. They give off the impression that they don’t want to be bothered. I will say at least the repairmen were nice. The few times they did actually answer the phone, the man who answered was kind of short and seemed inconvenienced and the girl was nice. So after being ignored again, (phone calls not returned) we found another more friendly repairman who came in less than a weeks time, did a great job and was a very respectful, respectable man.

    I was afraid the fireplace insert would be too small for the wall it would be on. We were assured we would be happy with the finished product. We LOVE the unit and regret not doing this project years earlier. Installers were knowledgeable and adequately demonstrated use of the remote before leaving the house. You will not be disappointed with this company.

    Top notch all the way! Exceeded our expectations! Everyone there is friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Kyle and Chris did a very clean and professional install of our gas insert. They were able to run the gas line and electric direct from the basement to the fireplace, rather than going outside with it (others thought different). Kyle made sure we understood operation of the unit & remote before leaving. It looks beautiful and we have happily been using it nearly every day for over a month now. They are definitely the best!

    We stopped in to ask a question about my current fireplace. No one was in the business and no one responded when we called out "Hello". After a few minutes someone came out of a closed door. She seemed like she had been asleep and wasn't very welcoming or friendly. She never made eye contact the entire time we were there and I had to initiate a greeting by saying "hello" first. We showed her photos of my current fireplace/blower and explained that we had been unable to find a name brand on anything to do with the fireplace. The blower is noisy and needs replacing. She didn't even look at the photos and said that they couldn't do anything about it because it wasn't a brand they carried. It felt like we were bothering her and that she wasn't interested at all in our business. If she had seemed friendly or engaged, we may have considered purchasing a new fireplace, but after this negative experience there's no way I'll ever spend my money at this business.

    We love our new gas fireplace. There are a lot of options when purchasing a fireplace - Both Kyle and Bethany were very helpful and patient as we changed our minds several times. Our TV is mounted above the fireplace and Kyle was very thorough explaining the specs to ensure the TV would be safe. Kyle and the workers removed our old wood burning fireplace and installed the gas fireplace in one day. Kyle stayed and explained all the remote control options. We are very pleased with the service from Countryside and highly recommend them.
