  I truly enjoy coming here, albeit, for coffee, sandwiches, and their ice cream… or to buy their baked goods and other items! My only minor complaints are that I wish they had more wheelchair accessible tables inside. They have one large table that can work for a wheelchair or stroller, and the rest of the tables are high-top. Secondly, if you’re coming for lunch or during busy times, the deli can be a bit overwhelming, and the people behind the cash register want you ready with the order slip complete. However, I completely understand that they are under high stress and want things to go smoothly. They should have a signed saying to complete the order slip first. Nonetheless, what I appreciate the most about the deli is their concern for allergies and them providing gluten-free bread. As a celiac, I appreciate this very much! Been coming here for almost three years, and it’s a wonderful addition to the FXBG area!! :)

  Very friendly employees and the service was quick. Both the sandwich and coffee were reasonably priced especially for how good they were! The coffee especially, idk how they make it but their whipped cream is the best I've had on a coffee!!

  Been coming here for the past few years and I usually get the same thing their breakfast burrito that has eggs, queso, hashbrown and choice of meat (I opt for both sausage and bacon) and their biscuit and gravy. The first few times were great but the past two times I’ve gone, my order has been incomplete and disappointing. Last time they left out the hashbrowns and when I went up to tell them it was missing that part they acted like it was ridiculous I ask for the missing part of my order. I just went again today to try again, same order. My burrito was missing the bacon this time and honestly I opened it up and there was one chunk of a potato instead of the usual amount of hashbrowns I kid you not. Not to mention for some reason this time it tasted like there was no seasoning outside of the sausage flavor and the queso didn’t actually taste like anything, plus the tortilla was cooked so long on the bottom it was flaking off it was overdone. And when I went to eat my biscuit it was dark and hard, I had to cut through it with my knife and it actually crunched when I ate it. Idk about you but a biscuit should be soft enough to eat with a fork as is. I didn’t even bother going in to see if they could redo my order because the employees were not at all nice about it last time. I’m not sure what has happened if they got new employees or the kitchen isn’t actually reading the slips fully or what but their food and service has absolutely gone down hill. They have always had a long wait for food but now you don’t know which part of your order is going to be messed up when you get it. I’d honestly wait longer if it meant my order was made correctly and wasn’t seasoned properly and not completely overcooked to the point it was nearly burnt but I don’t even think I’ll try again.Truly disappointed and I can’t recommend it to anyone anymore now since you don’t even get the food you pay for.

  Stayed here overnight through Harvest Host. Food choices were exceptional and all staff members were friendly and helpful. Huge selection of bulk foods and fresh baked goodies. Coffee and ice cream were wonderful.

  The Battlefield Country Store is truly a gem for anyone looking for a great meal or a quick snack. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a charming rustic feel that makes you want to linger. The food selection is impressive, especially the deli area where I ordered the Battlefield country fries — they were crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The sandwiches looked fresh and hearty, and the coffee was just the right pick-me-up. I also loved the variety of ice cream flavors available, which would be perfect for a sweet finish or a treat on a hot day. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, greeting me with smiles and making sure I had everything I needed. It’s clear they take pride in their service. The store is conveniently located with easy parking, making it a great stop whether you’re on the go or have time to relax. Prices are fair, especially considering the quality and portion sizes. Overall, the Battlefield Country Store offers an excellent combination of delicious food, friendly service, and a pleasant environment. It’s definitely a place I’ll be returning to and would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a satisfying meal or a tasty treat.
