  Fully recommend Commonwealth Fireplace if you are looking for a wood insert (or any fireplace/stove). Commonwealth took care of everything: purchasing the stove, installation, the building permit, inspection, etc. The full package. We felt safe and informed at every step. We have a busy household and working with Commonwealth made the entire process so smooth and painless. Worth saying that we tried a different business before and the service doesn’t compare. So if you’re looking for a wood stove, in our experience, this is the place to go to. Thanks a lot! We love it! Note: Getting a wood stove takes several months from start to finish. If you want it by the fall, start in the spring.

  ** The service tech, Dennis, gets FIVE stars; however, only three stars to Commonwealth Fireplace for confusion in scheduling and slow call backs over 4+ weeks ** Gas fireplace repair and maintenance is a tough nut to crack. Stores only service their own products and it is hard to get on their calendar. Once I Dennis from Commonwealth Fireplace showed up, it was immediately evident he was a pro. He identified the issue; cleaned our entire fireplace and added new embers, no charge; and answered any question I threw at him. It is literally like having a brand new fireplace. Big thank you to Dennis and team.

  My husband and I have just come from Commonwealth Fireplace where we bought a wood-fire insert and we cannot speak highly enough of Jodi. She was so incredibly helpful, knows so much about every product and was patient with all our questions. In fact, her knowledge and explanations, I am quite sure, saved us from making a choice that would not have been as good for us. Like everybody else, we visited other stores but we found our experience with Jodi to be far and away the best....she was comfortable and easy to talk to, volunteering information we would need and asking us all the right questions that ensured we chose the most suitable product for us. She clearly loves what she does and is a true professional. Do not hesitate to visit the showrooms, you will learn so much and feel confident that you have been guided towards the the best product for you. Thank you Jodi for taking all the pain and uncertainty out of this experience!!

  Be ware. Don’t waste your money buying a fire place from this company they’re literally the WORST. We have bought a custom made fire place that costed us thousands of dollars from them l and it was a nightmare, it took for ever to be delivered and installed and the worst part is the a guy called Mike he’s responsible for setting up the fire place and maintenance, came in to set it up and left, after we tested it, we found the flames are very weak and there’s no heat coming out as supposed to be. We went to the store and explained our problem, they’re uncooperative especially after they were paid all the money. We spoke to Mike and explained the problem he gave us an appointment and never showed up and never bothered to call us to reschedule we literally have to run after them to fix the brand new extremely expensive fireplace. They’re simply horrible

  I just wanted to tell everyone how happy I was with my most recent interaction with Commonwealth Fireplace. I first met Jodi who helped me through the many options in purchasing a new fireplace insert as well as a gas log for my home. Her knowledge was second to none. Her experience saved me from making many wrong decisions. Her experience with all the products and options provided me with ideas from styles, quality, heating output and overall design. She just didn’t stop there, she also provided me with contractors such as a stone mason and chimney repair and cleaning company who also provided outstanding service. Jodi is a true professional who clearly has the customers’ best interest in mind. This outstanding service was also provided to me by Mike D. who installed my fireplace and made sure everything was perfect. and Mike and Jeremy from service, who answered and solved all my start up questions. Commonwealth Fireplace should be everyone’s go to list! Nick Patsio
