Absolutely horrible company to work with. We recently purchased a newly constructed condo that they installed the furnace, a/c, and ductwork in. I noticed that they never connected the basement family room cold air return to the system. They had panned off the back side of the return, but never ran the ductwork. It took weeks of calling by the builder and myself to get someone in the "New Construction Dept." to call me back. When they did, he claimed I was incorrect that was there to provide make-up air for the water heater. After a lengthy discussion he agreed to send someone out to take a look at it. Turns out they hadn't ever connected the return as I had said. Yesterday I discovered a condensation leak inside the furnace that was causing rust. Evidently it had been leaking since the installation. Also to metal clamps designed to be tightened around the flue pipe were never tightened and there was a probability that carbon monoxide had been leaking into the home since it was installed. I asked them to come fix it under warranty and was told there would be a dispatch fee of $150 to come out and look at it and if it wasn't an installer error it would be $250/hr to fix it. $250/hr for a scheduled appointment during regular business hours? That's unbelievable! Considering they installer didn't connect the return air ductwork, and the clamps on the flue pipe were never tightened, I think it's a safe assumption the leak was an installer issue. I canceled the appointment, tightened the clamps myself and will monitor the condensation line leak for further issues. Colony used to have a great reputation, but evidently the new owner is more interested in making a fast buck than customer satisfaction.

Absolutely blown away by Colony’s professionalism, pricing, and just general all around amazing service. We had another company say we had some irreplaceable damage to our heating unit and it would cost on the low end $15k to fix including a bundle with water tank and air conditioning. It seemed high, so we reached out to Colony for a second opinion. Immediately Matt was so knowledgeable during the estimate and recommended that we have a technician come out to really see what the issue was because our system wasn’t that old to have the damage we were shown. Matt answered all our questions and had no pressure to move forward with the estimate till the technician came out. John was available the next day (which WOW that is awesome fast service!) and he was super knowledgeable and walked us through the process of finding any damages that would need replaced. Finding none, he even went above and beyond to make sure he was correct. Not only did he save us $15k but we’re going to be Colony customers for life due to the amazing customer service. Sure, the company could have agreed and gotten us to buy all new systems, but they were honest, friendly, and cared that we were taken care of. Now that’s the Colony difference. If you need ANYTHING Colony should be your first and only stop. We thank you so much Matt and John and all the Colony folks!

I had a furnace boiler fail and Colony had the replacement solution and an installation team that got me back to home heat quickly. They were willing to help me reduce cost with system configuration solutions and warranty help from the manufacturer. The installers fixed problems in the original installation and gave me a better system at a good price.

Absolutely 100% satisfaction! I just got an entirely new HVAC system installed in my 2-story old home and I can't recommend Colony highly enough. The quote process was fantastic - they gave me multiple options to choose from with a range of prices. Once I decided, they were able to book the install within a couple of weeks, and the wonderful crew did an amazing job installing the systems while I was at work that day. They cleaned the entire area, leaving no mess behind and the new thermostat, furnace, humidifier and A/C unit looked pristine. I've been using the new system for about 3 weeks and I can say how happy I am with the decreased resource usage and the ease of operating the new thermostat. They also cleaned up some ductwork in the basement and put it just the way I requested, tucked up in between the floor joists (a huge improvement from the previous install). I am so very happy with this company - I recommend them for any home HVAC needs!

Have done most of our HVAC work thru them on various properties over the last 15 years. Just had a furnace part failure at 10pm on a Sunday night. After hours answered and I was willing to pay the after hours service call fee but nobody followed up. Got a call this morning from a manager and they’d have someone out yet this morning. Great service tech called at 930 to say he was on his way. Diagnosed problem quickly and had part on the truck to fix (covered under warranty). Done by 11am and furnace working great now. Tech was friendly wore shoe covers to not track thru house. He was an excellent representative of Colony Heating. Thankful for his knowledge and efficiency. Just need to tweak the after hours response system. Fortunately this was not a major emergency as I would have called back until I got a call back. This is really a 4.5 star review but don’t have that option.
