  Dan and John are outstanding! Experienced, and very knowledgeable.about our model / type fireplace; explaining what they were doing throughout the process. On time, clean operation, and really friendly. friendly. We are new owners of our home and never had a gas fireplace. Dan put us at ease by instructing us how to properly and safely operate the fireplace. John thoroughly disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled the unit. Dan texted it and repeated the instructions on different methods to start and shut-off the fireplace. I highly recommend Coastal Home Services - professional , experienced, friendly and competitively priced. You can’t go wrong.

  Just had Dan and John here to work on my fireplace it was overdue needed to be done they were very professional very efficient, very knowledgeable and very pleasant. Turns out my fireplace was in decent condition didn't need any expensive repairs just a good cleaning it was very nice having some guys that knew what they were doing and weren't trying to sell me anything. I'm pleased with the work and will certainly use them again.

  Honestly not the best experience. The dudes that came out were nice but I was never informed when booking the appointment that there was a $300 charge for an “inspection”…that surprise came at the end of the appointment. The funny part about the inspection is that they told me my “fireplace is unsafe to use” and quoted me 11k for a new one. I had another local big name company come out who was much more knowledgeable about my set up. He was baffled that Coastal was even able to provide a quote because my chimney was built around my cast iron stove..major chimney demo and rebuild would have to happen to replace the stove. He informed that my current set up is totally safe to use just needed a little cleaning. Best part was that there was no charge for his inspection! Wish I had a better experience with coastal because I hate writing poor reviews but I really feel like I got worked and would’ve been even more screwed had I moved forward with them.

  Our 22 year old gas fireplace would not light so we reached out to Coastal Home Services to have them take a look at it. Dan and Katie were extremely courteous and professional throughout the whole process. Dan came out and completely serviced and cleaned the fireplace unit and got it running again. He took the time to let the unit run to be sure it was working properly and burning clean. I was pleasantly surprised that he repainted the fireplace unit including the inside of it which made the unit look like new. That was a nice touch to the service provided. We were very pleased with Coastal Home Services and we will definitely utilize their services in the future if the need arises. We would highly recommend them to anyone.
