  Just bought our first home and made an appointment with them for a wood burning fireplace/chimney cleaning. They called to confirm the Friday before the Monday appointment, gave us a window of when to expect the tech. Tech showed up and was polite and professional. No unexpected fees or gimmicks. Exactly what we asked for, we got and paid for. Very happy with service and will use again.

  Clayton Richards was recommended by my oil heating contractor to check my boiler chimney for sweeping. The technician was on time and was very honest and respectful. He sweeped my chimney and gave me helpful suggestions for future service. I will continue to use them for sweeping service.

  I hired Clayton Richards in June 2024 to look into a leak in my family room ceiling that I thought may have been coming from my chimney. The leak didn't happen during normal downpours, only during a hard driving horizontal rain, every few months. They came out and examined the chimney, even spraying water on it, and confirmed that it was indeed a leaky chimney. I approved their estimate and they completed the work shortly after. I couldn't confirm the repair until we got one of those driving rains which happened in December 2024. It leaked from the same exact spot that it had been leaking before, not near the spot, but exactly from the spot it always leaked from. I reached out and they told me it was too cold for them to do anything so they'd have to come back in the spring. They came back to look at the leak and told me it must be another leak because they had repaired the other leak. I find it highly unlikely, probably impossible, that my ceiling would leak from the same exact spot they were hired to fix and its a second leak". They would not stand by their work and I will not do business with this company again and I suggest you don't either.

  Hi I am writing this review for my boss. He had Clayton Richards install a chimney liner at his new house and said they went fantastic. They where neat and through. In stalled in his words perfectly! And he is a perfectionist so this is a huge complement! Next week they go to my house !
