  I cannot say enough about Chimney Scientists! I would highly recommend this company for chimney inspections, repairs, and installation of gas fireplace logs and units. The communication was great! Although our appointment had to be moved back a week (Gas fireplace insert shipment was delayed) Steven and Armando came on time, explained what was going to happen and how long it was going to take. All of my new furniture, new carpet, etc was carefully covered before work started. Steven went over the new gas unit and remote with me and explained everything in addition to giving me the manual. It's a good thing he showed me in detail as we lost power the very next day and I was able to successfully install batteries for everything to continue to work through our one day power outage. Thank you Steven and Armando.

  They came out to paint and peel some brick to clean it and did not bring enough supplies. Which left the brick looking horrible. Gave a star cause the office was quick to call. Sent another team and assured me they would have enough this time. My in laws were moving in and I needed this done and finish to get them settled in. Due to fumes they had to sleep in our guest room and not their bedroom. To only be told once again from the team coming to remove the paint and peel it was apply too thin again. Leaving my it looking horrible. Update: team arrived apparently not knowing why they were there. Left the brick wall half finished. My father in law had to explain the issue after I was assured they would not leave it a mess again but they still did.

  My experience was great. Brandon arrived on time, was very personable and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain what he was going to be doing, looking for and ultimately what my options were for remediation, if needed. I feel I got full value of the cost of the cleaning and inspection.
