  Chimney Cricket did an excellent job in the complete restoration and rebuild of our chimney. It was a large project involving the removal of the cultured stone facade and rebuilding of the chimney with the replacement of the rotted OSB followed by refacing with Hardie board and installation of a new chase cover and paint to exactly match my existing siding. I especially want to thank Arleon for the amazing job he did and especially his attention to detail and professionalism during the course of the entire project. Attached are a few before and after photos of the project. I highly recommend Chimney Cricket and the whole team for any chimney work project large or small. Thanks so much.

  I highly recommend Chimeny Cricket. The company was very accomodating to my work schedule, and was able to get me a cleaning ASAP. Jeramie did a great job on my cleaning. He arrived on time, and gave me a heads up when he was 20-30 minutes out. He did a great job explaining the repairs needed to my chimney with the pictures/videos taken during the inspection. I'll be booking my repairs with them.

  Contacted them for a cleaning and inspection on a 100+ year old Detroit home. My wife, Hailey, reached out and they came out within a week, were timely and clean. Jeramie was helpful and informative in going through the options for some repairs that old homes run into eventually. Still gotta make the decision but pleased with everything up to this point!

  We have been using this company since we bought the house in 1994, getting the chimney cleaned and inspected about every year. Last year, they told us the chimney was no longer safe to use, so we had them replace our chimney flue on Nov 11, 2024. They did a fantastic job, and the masonry work associated with the repair cured a water leak(it was coming through the chimney). Today, Jeramie Guerin stopped by for my free inspection and cleaning(apparently the first year is included with the new flue). He insisted on running his vacuum cleaner outside the house so it wouldn't puff contaminants into my house. He was consistently wearing booties over his shoes, and carefully laid tarp over the carpet and hearth. The inspection included camera shots inside the length of the chimney(which is how we found the damage that led to replacement a year ago). In addition, he cleaned the glass on the fireplace screen. They gave me a 2 hour window for his arrival, and he called when he was about 30 minutes away. Took just under an hour, I believe. He even asked me if I wanted to keep the partially burnt log that was in the fireplace from previous use.

  Jeramie from Chimney cricket was a pleasure to work with. He came to get our gas fireplace and logs cleaned up and going this year. Explained everything thoroughly. Cleaned up afterward and got us a fair quote on a replacement if we wanted. Would highly recommend chimney cricket and Jeramie specifically.
