We completely replaced an existing fireplace in the home we bought. The new fireplace is beautiful and exactly what I wanted! The staff have all been very professional and helpful. I felt comfortable with the guys in my house, very trustworthy. The only problem we had was the time it took to get the hearth stone. Once that was here the rest went very smoothly.

I can’t say enough good things about Chimney and Stone Specialist! I called them after smelling gas near my fireplace, and they responded quickly and professionally. They identified the gas leak right away, explained the issue clearly, and made the necessary repairs safely and efficiently. Their team was extremely knowledgeable, respectful of my home, and took the time to walk me through what they had done. They also checked the rest of the chimney and fireplace to make sure everything else was in perfect working order. I truly felt like I was in good hands — they prioritized safety without trying to scare or upsell me. The folks at Chimney and Stone were very responsive and professional. The options they offered to us were wide ranging and high quality. They took the time to explain the benefits and potential drawbacks of each option and provided clear pricing estimates. The technician who did the install was knowledgeable, courteous, and did a great job. We are very happy with our new electric fireplace!

Ridiculously expensive! $150 for a simple 30 minute rooftop visual inspection of the chimney top that is not deductable from any subsequent repair charges. For the latter, we were quoted am outrageous $1397 for some crown mortar repair and sealant application work. Cost of materials and labor cited were wildly inflated. Padded line items included work for a second chimney not requiring repair based on the inspection. Request for a formal amended quote was not provided. Also I had to request that the chimney pictures taken during the inspection (only 2 apparently) be sent to me. Very disappointing. Obviously they did not get our business. The owner's subsequent response to my review below further highlights the issue with this company and their attitude towards customers. Very poor indeed.
