  Initial install was in March. They have been out several times attempting to complete the install. They brought the wrong equipment, did not have the correct parts, told my plumber the incorrect way to run the gas, told my electrician the wrong way to run the electrical. Plumber had to come 3 times. Electrician had to come 3 times. Framer, whom they suggested, had to come twice due to them framing it wrong. The flame did not adjust correctly so they ordered me a new remote. After all that was done they left me with a gas leak because they did not check for leaks when they started it. I was having headaches and nausea when I started using it in October. The technician came out today, November 18, 2022, and found that the LP conversion kit was not tightened when it was installed. It was never assessed for leakes at start up. This could have been life changing and is completely reckless.

  They installed a fireplace and it leaked a little water in through the vent out the back. I called them to have them look at it and they sent out a crew. They told me they didn't know what happened and it should be fine next time it rains. 2 weeks later it rained and it leaked so much water it damaged the subfloor. Ben was nice on the phone and came out to look at the vent and suggested caulking around it and told me to take it apart. I had a licensed general contractor come and look at the vent and he said it leaked through the vent, had nothing to do with the surrounding area. When I explained this to Ben he referred me to Brian since he deals with scheduling. Then I received a run around of both of them telling me to talk to the other person. Brian was so incredibly rude on the phone I couldn't believe it. He told me if I had someone look at it who understood how water worked it wouldn't be leaking.. I guess a licensed general contractor isn't someone he considers intelligent enough to grasp that concept 🤔 I still have a leaking fireplace. I have to find someone else to fix THEIR product. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because Ben was polite and helpful when I could reach him. Brian on the other hand was one of the rudest people I have ever spoken with.

  Although their scheduling is a little unreliable sometimes they will eventually show up if you call them enough. One of our Montigo fireplaces had a broken thermocouple and the other had a gunked up pilot light. Steve, one of their technicians, is really nice and knew exactly how to fix our fireplace quickly and correctly!
