Working with a company and representatives who are knowledgeable, helpful, And take their time with you is one of the most important parts when it comes to big changes to one's home. Recently I had the opportunity to discuss upgrades to my two fireplaces with Mary Rollins from CAPO. her attention to detail and patients in helping me understand the entire process has given me great confidence in this company and I will be moving forward with them as the project progresses. Good customer service is invaluable!

I've been working with Capo for nearly 10 years. I want to give a shout out to Mary Rollins! She has been phenomenal! Any time I have a question about whats possible she will do the research and tell me exactly what is the best choice. On my last build, my Architect spec'ed out a fireplace that I didn't love. Mary picked up on this, and directed me to a much nicer looking unit and it came in under budget. Starting this past July Capo has really stepped up their game and it shows. I'm so happy to call them a trade partner.

Avoid Capo Fireplace at All Costs - IMHO Dishonest and Incompetent! I had the worst experience with Capo Fireplace, from the owner Eric Peterson to the Customer Service Manager, Brian Cassie. Their technicians are incompetent, and their management is completely unprofessional. Save yourself the trouble and find another company to work with! I hired them to install an igniter in my Lucius 140 room divider fireplace, which is an expensive unit. The maintenance required removing the glass panel, and they sent a technician who they claimed was "very experienced." Instead, he used a power tool to replace the glass, resulting in a crack. While they initially apologized and assured me they’d replace it with factory glass, what followed was a series of frustrating lies and failures. They returned three times, each time with glass that was obviously not factory-made and didn’t fit. Despite their claims, it was clear they had no intention of fixing the problem properly. Out of sheer frustration, I gave them the cracked glass to measure at their shop, but instead of resolving the issue, they destroyed the glass entirely and refused to fix my fireplace. When I reached out to both the owner and the service manager, they told me they would no longer assist me. To make matters worse, when I contacted other local fireplace service companies to try and fix the mess, one told me they wouldn't even touch a job that Capo had been involved in—clearly, they’re not respected in the industry. Here's an actual quote from Brian Cassie, the same person who caused the damage: "I will no longer offer our services." Save yourself the headache and avoid Capo Fireplace. IMHO, they are dishonest, unprofessional, and clearly lack the expertise they claim to have.

Had a 2 PM to 4 PM window for them to come by and service our heat and glow… They never showed up, no communication whatsoever. Companies should not be able to operate like this. They need to communicate with their client when they will be there and if they will be late. I lost four hours out of my day that I can never get back. And our unit was never serviced. Avoid at all costs.

A Clown Show!!! The only high star posts are from years ago. Everything recent is terrible which tells you everything. No communication, disorganized, unprofessional. Had a 12-2pm appt which was set up, but I was never notified. I called to check in, when I found out the appt was made. 1:30 they didnt show up yet. Called to check, I was told I would get "call right back" its now 2:10 no one will answer the phone, no one called back. It is almost funny how terrible they are... Stay clear!
