Great work and reasonably priced. Inspection and cleaning was $189. Compared to other companies, who are asking for $350! I was pleased with the pricing and service. Used Capitol Chimney Service for inspection and cleaning. They were outstanding, reliable and easy to work with. They showed me what needed to be repaired in the fireplace and chimney, ordered parts, and scheduled service quickly. Their Office staff and workers were all polite and respectful. The repairs were not minor but it was the first work we needed in 35 years! They handled it extremely well, ensuring everything was done accurately. We had a tiny issue at the end and they resolved it cheerfully and immediately. I’ll be doing business with them and recommending to neighbors!

They did a great job on a complete fireplace repair (remove old tiles, place insert, replace cap with new damper; parge lthe fire chamber, and point up the chimney bricks). They will return to pressure wash the chimney and seal the bricks. In addition, they removed a very heavy wood burning stove insert from another fireplace. They completely covered the work area, sealing it off to prevent the spread of dust, and left the area as clean as they found it. Moreover their price was significantly lower than ann estimate from another firm.

Excellent company across the board. They replaced fireplace flue and a separate flue through the chimney for HVAC. Plus some masonry restoration and tuckpointing on the inside of the firebox. Great communication from the front office, reasonable pricing, the masons were timely and professional, the resulting work was top notch. Highly recommend this company.
