  I’ve recently had a Chesneys marble surround and gas log fire fitted by the guys at Burning Desires. I can’t recommend them enough the quality of the product is fantastic but it was the service before, during and after that blew me away. I’ve already referred a friend and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again 👏👏

  Awful customer service! Whilst talking to a member of the sales team he was completely uninterested and was clearly listening to another customer's conversation. He suddenly leapt over to them asking if they would like a quote doing today leaving us stood there speechless! So rude and unprofessional needless to say we won't be returning.😡 .

  We used “Burning Desires” to install a new stove and remove the old one , all seemed fine we chose the the new fire and the hearth , the staff in the shop were very very helpful advising us on which was the best for our existing opening , we had a visit from them to look at it and measure up etc , all seemed good to go ahead …. The work started and we were looking forward having a brand new fire , we decorated the room and chose a whole new look , it looked perfect , …. Unfortunately that excitement was short lived , we experienced lots of issues with not just the fire but with a variety things , on contacting Burning Desires regarding the issues I have to say they took our concerns seriously and tried to rectify them quickly , but unfortunately after several months we were still having issues, I won’t go into detail as it would make this into an essay ! Again BD did their best to rectify , still the issues persisted , finally after 6 months of back wards and forwards conversations we were getting very fed up and stressed about the whole thing, BD then took our situation to company who specialised in our particular problem , they diagnosed what was causing our issues and reported back to BD , so now the positive part , BD did every thing they could to make things right and finally we have the fire and the room we should have had 6 months ago , would I recommend BD , yes definitely I would as they were adamant about solving our problem and in the end they did , there was no animosity and were friendly and helpful throughout the process , yes we could have done with out the hassle , but things happen unexpectedly so no hard feelings . It still has to re plastered and decorated and are waiting for the plasterer to complete the work needed,

  My mother’s fire went faulty and as she is disabled this was a major concern. I rang Burning Desires and they came out straight away. Paddy was wonderful with her and not only helped her decide but also fitted her in before Xmas. I would highly recommend them they were amazing and many thanks to Paddy for his amazing help

  I was lied to the job took months to finish. Was a complete nightmare. The fire marble went yellow due to the fumes coming back into the living room from the gas fire. The fire cracked due to the heat. The fitting was measured wrong . Was told the flu did not need doing when it did .
