  Ron installed a new AC system 8/9/2023. His work was pathetic, sloppy, incompetent & left dangerous fire hazards. My system never blew as cold as it should have. Ron insisted there were no leaks. During my first service 3/2025, I was alerted to numerous problems all caused by careless installation. I then had a 2nd company come out. They noted the same problems. Freon was low due to leak at solder pipe, whip was not up to code, wiring was not secured right creating another fire hazards, he left big open holes in the floor causing the inside system to suck up dirt. When I talked to him & his wife they lied repeatedly. Insisted the other company was just lying etc. Renee (wife, original owner) even said she'd never heard of them installing a whip. They work harder to lie & manipulate than work to do the job right. Ron admitted to not putting a "sleeve" on the whip but denied everything else without even looking at the system. At this point, I could not trust him to do the job right. I hired one of the companies to do the work. The company covered the holes, repaired the wiring, re soldered the pipe correctly, drained all the Freon out, replaced it & made corrections to the whip to bring it to code. The 2 companies were appalled at the job Ron did. I posted pics of the pipe he soldered. The hole left open in my floor, the dirt on my system caused by the hole & the whip he left exposed. I have no doubts theyll come on here & blame everyone else but themselves or deny it happened. I attempted to report them to the BBB. They're not even accredited. I think it's obvious why. My recommendation is, do not hire this company.

  I called this company to get help with my gas fireplace insert. The lady who answered the phone was rude to start off with. She just couldn't fathom why I was calling them asking for a professional opinion on the kind of insert I needed for my house. So I repeated myself again after she told me she did not understand what I was asking. The gentlemen in the background heard my question and told her to have me text pictures of the fireplace. So I did that and even though there is a gas line/hookup there I was told this area was for a space heater. I asked once more if he was sure this was for a space heater being that there is a working gas line there. He responds with, "Not something we do but thanks for asking." It seems to me this company lacks the adequate knowledge to give advice and that suggesting this "area" was for a space heater(next to a working gas line.)was reckless and very unprofessional. Terrible customer service. Would not recommend. If I could give no stars, I would. ---- Response to your response. Like I said rude. I said what I said 🤷‍♀️

  I have a house built in the 70's. The previous occupant kept dogs and cats in the house. The smell was coming from the hvac and ductwork. My allergies would kick in as soon as I turned on the hvac. I looked around around and got estimates. Brooks fireplace and hvac was very competitive with others in the area. Ronnie and Renee are the real deal. I wanted to get everything replaced before the cold set in. They took care of me very quickly, but they are also very professional and courteous. Ronnie and Renee both answered all my questions and even explained how the system works so that I would use it efficiently. They both know their business very well. They are the original Brooks hvac. Renee and Ronnie took over this segment of her parents business when they decided to retire. So If you want generations of experience, knowledge, professionalism, courtesy all at a competitive price done in a timely manner this is where to go. I know for me they are now my go to for all my heating system and cooling needs. Remember there are two Brooks in this town. If it's not Brooks fireplace and hvac you've gone to the wrong one.

  I purchased gas logs over 5 yrs ago and still get so many compliments about how realistic they are. The quality of Brooks products and their outstanding installation and service makes me recommend them to everyone
