  We recently hired Bowden’s Fireside to convert our old wood-burning fireplace into a gas fireplace — and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From the very first call, Cameron was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. He walked us through all available options, explained what the conversion would involve (gas-line installation, venting, permit/inspection, safety checks), and gave a fair, transparent quote. On installation day, the crew showed up on time and worked cleanly and efficiently. The final result is beautiful — the new gas fireplace looks and works perfectly, much cleaner and easier to use than the old wood fireplace. We’ve already enjoyed cozy, even heat — no smoke, no ash, and zero maintenance compared to before. We strongly recommend them to anyone considering converting a wood fireplace to gas.

  THIS IS A GREAT COMPANY!!!! I did not have Bowden's do the install of my woodstove three years ago, and I really REALLY wish I had. After trying to diagnose an issue with my woodstove with the original installer (who left me hanging and could not diagnose or fix but was more than happy to take money), I ended up contacting Bowden's team. First, I had originally contacted Bowden's to replace the existing woodstove that was only three years old. Bowden's completely surprised me for the better and "refused" to come out to give me an estimate on a full replacement without trying to diagnose and repair the issue, which just show's that they care about the customer (and remember I was not even a customer who used them for the original purchase of the entire woodstove / install). Once on site, you could tell that they were extremely knowledgeable regarding wood stoves. Not only that, but they were extremely nice and pleasant to work with. They worked efficiently and the price was very reasonable. They also gave me several pointers on how to help get the most from my woodstove. I now plan to utilize Bowden's for all future wood stove work, maintenance, etc. Cannot say this enough, the entire team at Bowden's was extremely helpful, communicated very strongly for scheduling and assisting someone who was ready to throw in the towel on fixing a relatively new woodstove, and because of this provided an extremely pleasant experience (something that I had not been dealing with at other companies). Strongly recommend this company and thank you again to everyone at Bowden's! Will now be recommending them to anyone I know looking for any future work on their own woodstoves / fireplaces.
