We got our hot tub last year form BH. We had a smooth experience with all our questions answered. They recommended installers and an electrician. I've been in a few times the past year with random questions and they are always cool to answer(eventho they are quite busy). I recently had a part that snapped off(a mystery) and they just handed me a new part that installed myself. easy peasy.

Berkeley Heat was fantastic from the showroom all the way to final install. I knew I wanted to put a Regency electric fireplace insert into my condo but didn't know where to start. Donovan was very helpful informing me of options like size, 120V vs. 220V, and finishes. The showroom was a great space in which you could see a number of heater options, including gas and electric. When it came time to install, I had a contractor I had used before in mind but had trouble getting him to commit. Berkeley Heat again was a great help putting me in contact with their preferred installer who completed installation within a month. He was even able to reface the wall on which the electric fireplace unit was located. I would highly recommend Berkeley Heat for their knowledge and service!

From the time I first entered, at the recommendation of a friend, Nic and Darrian were very helpful, relaxed (not high pressure sales), knowledgeable and informative about what I would need to have the best hot tub purchase and installation experience. That said, I am THRILLED with my hot tub and use it nearly every single day. I highly recommend shopping at Berkeley Heat if you're looking for a hot tub (or fireplace) in the Bay Area.

Good selection, knowledgeable sales people. They sold me an indoor sauna and dipped. I had to call for follow up information on delivery and then call again. Be aware, there are apparently two installers that they use with vastly different install prices. Thousands of dollars difference! Ask lots of questions, speak to an electrician, prepare the space, read the manual. Choose the less expensive installer if (as in my case) installing an indoor sauna.
