They delivered! I had been entertaining installing it my self but was fearful of making an error and risking any issues with my insurance. It’s worth getting it done by a professional. Chris, whom I communicated with mostly through text was a straight shooter. Perhaps a bit kurt. But efficient. I am in the service business myself. I know when I am getting a show and when I am getting service. If you want service, call Chris. If you want a show, call elsewhere.

Have used ('used' as in never again) Beach Fireplace for several years to service/maintain our gas fireplace. They have always done good work but have been a mess administratively. A few years back, I kept getting calls about paying for a service visit that I knew I had paid for. I had to go back and find my credit card statement showing the payment and send it in to get them to stop calling. The explanation after was they had switched billing systems and lost a bunch of historic data. Next, I went on a 'Lifetime' locked in rate of $295/year for servicing the fireplace. This was ~ 3 years back. Well today,(09/07/22), Chris came and told me he had no record of my lifetime agreement. My wife found the contract and showed him. The 'new today' policy is I now have to 'pre pay next year's $295'. This is not a 'new policy' according to Chris but has always been the policy, we were simply not compliant with it. He then got upset and told me he would charge me $425 ($461.65 with tax) if I don't give him two payments of $295 today. We paid him $461.65 and I had my wife kick him out. Never dealing with this rude idiot again. I'll buy a new fireplace first and certainly not from him. Beware.

I needed to share an experience I had with the owner from Beach Stove and Fireplace because I found him very helpful, friendly, courteous and most importantly honest. All I needed was some questions answered about a gas fireplace in a condo we moved into due to the fact I only previously owned a wood burning fireplace. We actually walked in the door close to closing time yet Chris not only answered our questions, he also looked up our model fireplace (even though he doesn't carry that manufacturer) and e-mailed us the owners manual. I also was inquiring about an additional part for the fireplace I thought I would want. Chris told us he would look to locate the part the next day and that is exactly what he did and e-mailed us the info in case we wanted it. Even though we just came in with questions and not any kind of purchase, Chris spent his time answering them and made us feel comfortable. I don't usually write reviews, but because I went to another fireplace store where I was treated like I was not important enough and was sent on my way without answers, I needed to write this for someone who was willing to help and treated us as a friend. Thank You Chris and I would recommend your business for sure!

My experience at Beach Stove and Fireplace was great. Chris was very helpful. He came to the house any arrived on time. He took measurements and helped us decide on the final look for a new surround for our zero clearance fireplace. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Beach Stove and Fireplace. Chris’ help made for a great shopping experience.

In July, 2020, I contacted Beach Stove and Fireplace and scheduled a service call and explained in detail that the gas log fireplace was not working, I travelled for work and would not be at my home until late Fall and I needed to ensure that the fireplace was in good working order. I was assured that an honest assessment would be performed and I would be advised if I needed to replace the log set, or if only a simple repair was necessary. The service person came, and said all was fine, serviced the gas fireplace - charged me a SIGNIFICANT sum, and left. The remainder of the summer until November, the fireplace was not used. When I returned home home and put on the fireplace this November 2020 , it did not work. I called the store and spoke with a gentleman who identified himself as Chris who was extremely rude. He continued to interrupt me as I explained the situation and then said the store does not provide any warranties on their work. BEWARE. I would leave 0 stars if this was possible.
