I used Bassemiers last year to clean and inspect my gas fire place and had a great experience. Easy to schedule, arrived on time on the day of, and provided a professional high quality service. No issues. Decided to use them again this year, and now they've lost a customer. Scheduling was a nightmare. Called multiple times and the one person in charge of scheduling was never physically in the store. Left 1 or 2 voicemails because of this, never got a return call. Finally get a hold of her and I'm scheduled for a day at 3pm. The day off, no one shows at 3. I call to see why. A nice lady tells me the system says I was given a time frame of 3:30 to 4:30. That is not what was communicated, and my invoice even proves that because they put 3pm in the scheduling comment section. I work a lot of hours so it's already hard enough to schedule appointments like these for my home. I can't work with a business that takes weeks to get a hold of just to schedule the appointment and then doesn't show when they told me they would. I will say the lady who provided the service this year was fine. Great job on her end, but the scheduling messes are too much to deal with for me.

I can't say enough good things about this company! Shout out to Alex, CJ & Jason for their expertise in the installation of our gas logs for our fireplace!!! They were very friendly, knowledgeable and meticulous with the installation and explaining everything. Shout out to Bill Tedford in sales for his direction on getting the right product for our needs. I highly recommend them. I love being able to give reviews like this! Great job folks!!!

We have been using Bassemiers to clean our gas Heat&Glo fireplace annually. Due to an "ongoing issue" with our pilot light not igniting, Matt (manager) was dispatched to our home. He disassembled the entire inner workings of the fireplace, tested the gas readings, adjusted the flame, and thoroughly cleaned the base. He worked diligently for (90) minutes to complete the job. I am very happy to report our fireplace now works like a brand new unit. But the best news was due to Bassemiers "30-day guarantee" policy, we were not charged for an extra service call. Thank-you Bassemiers for 100% standing behind your products and services!

Last week Bassemiers installed gas logs in my existing fireplace. Jason & Camille did the installation and they were friendly and professional. They answered all my questions and explained what they were doing as they did the installation. As they worked they cleaned up any mess from drilling, etc. When they were done running new gas line & installing logs they checked for leaks and lite pilot lights on other appliances. Then they went over operation of gas logs. I couldn't have asked for a better experience from the first contact with Jim to the final install by Jason & Camille. Thank you!

My dad purchased a home heating fireplace from Bassemiers in 2021, and while the product itself has worked well overall, he’s had some frustrating experiences with one particular staff member, Anna. Earlier this week, his fireplace stopped working, so he called to get help. Anna answered the phone and was immediately rude and dismissive. When he asked when the earliest appointment was available, she said December, which is understandable given the season, but her tone was condescending and she said something like “take it or leave it.” There was no empathy, no effort to be helpful, just a cold response. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time he’s had a negative interaction with her. Over the past 4.5 years, he’s dealt with her at least twice, and both times she was similarly unprofessional. It’s disappointing because the technicians who have come out or called him have been fantastic, respectful, knowledgeable, and kind. He has nothing but great things to say about them. I hope Bassemiers takes this feedback seriously. Customer service matters, especially when people are dealing with heating issues in colder months. A little kindness and professionalism can make a big difference.
