    I bought a big green egg and was told "if you ever need your receipt for a warranty issue, don't worry about it we will have it on file forever" what they didn't tell me is if and when we change our software we will not back it up or have it on file any longer. I called cooperate and they told me they would check into it. I asked has anyone else had this issue. I was told yes. i asked were those records retrieved....."no"... I asked so what are the chances mine would be found if the others weren't. just lip service. I have yet to hear back.......

    Bought a Hestan grill and had it installed in January, Rotisserie has design flaw which causes bar to fall off onto grill making it useless, igniter failed on 2nd use. After 10 plus calls to Hestan service was sent to my house, was told need to replace both control knobs,electronic control and rotisserie repair parts on backorder. Grill failed on first use of rotisserie and having to use a match to light grill. Highly disappointed in high end grill. Talked to Hestan today, was told thats the way it is with appliances. Was told maybe in a few weeks we can get grill working correctly. Doing an update on my grill, Barbeque Galore came out and fixed all the issues that I had with my grill. Thanks Barbeque Galore for the repairs, and Hestan says they are extending my coverage on the grill from the day repairs were made. Thanks all around

    I wish I could give this location negative stars. Absolutely do not buy your high end outdoor appliances from this location. The customer service and lack of urgency regarding any issues for appliances that are less than one year old has been disappointing to say the least. We purchased several Hestan appliances and have needed a few products serviced. We called the store to ask for recommendations regarding companies they recommend for service and the employees at the store could not have cared less to assist us. We spoke to them several times and they told us they would call us back with recommendations and never did.

    I loved Barbecues Galore when I purchased my Big Green Egg and lawn furniture. The service was excellent and I got a great deal. However, my experience declined significantly during delivery and during follow-up visits. We paid for assembly of the egg and delivery of the lawn furniture. The deliverer refused to place the box holding our lawn furniture on our porch because he said that would be "assembly." Therefore, he dumped the box on our lawn. The assembly service for the egg stripped several bolts that we had to ask them to replace. The didn't argue with us, but we had to watch them work, which was uncomfortable for both of us. When I had warranty issues with my egg about a year later, the employee who sold it to me was neither friendly nor helpful. The one good thing I'll say about this location is that they will price match and their sale prices are great. I'm just not sure that makes up for the service issues.
