Let me start with how much we love our pool! We searched for almost 4 years for the perfect house including a yard for a pool. We moved in December '22 and were swimming by the end of July '23! Steve, Lynn, Joe and all the other "guys" are so knowledgeable and helpful. Some of the pools Steve has done are over the top amazing with waterfalls, built in slides, zero entry and tanning shelves so I initially felt ours would not be as great due to our budget. His suggestions for design allowed us to maximize our budget with our own special touches. Number 1 was the "L" shape. I believe he called it the “party pool”! Number 2, that I would not have thought of, is the full length steps. They add so much to the style and function of our pool. The contractors they choose to do business with are top notch. For all major construction days Steve was present to over see the work himself and would frequently stop by to check on our job. In fact they warranty the work on our pool whether it was done by them or one of their contractors. We had a tile cracked during decking and BYC took care of the replacement of the tile no questions asked. Our pool build went as smoothly as could be expected with weather dependent work. In fact many of our friends and family couldn’t believe we got a pool in the same year we bought our house. I honestly do not have any idea the size or scope of the company because we are consistently treated like we are a priority and they are not too busy to answer our questions or address our concerns. Emails are quickly answered and the phone is answered by a person, who knows who I am! Many thanks to BYC for everything!

For 28 years Backyard Creations has taken incredibly good care of our pool and of us! Joe just installed a new pump (short notice), was as thorough and excellent as ever, and took the time to teach me how to use the new more energy efficient digital interface. We wouldn't go anywhere else, as the owner Steve and his manager Tyler have such integrity. Thank you for giving us almost 3 decades of outstanding service!

Backyard Creations replaced our pool liner, pump, and heater June 2022 and were an absolute dream to work with! Lynn knew my daughter was graduating from college and we wanted to have a party to celebrate. She was also very helpful in selecting my liner. She worked to make sure we were all swimming on party day even though there were supply chain issues. Joe did amazing work renovating our ancient equipment and even took the time to really teach me how all my new equipment worked. Backyard Creations is an fantastic company to work with and I will be going to them with all my future business.

We worked with this company for years, but over the last couple of years the service quality went way down. After seeing the sloppy job of opening my pool this year, I had finally had enough. When I expressed my concern, the customer service was defensive, dismissive, and ultimately dishonest. If you want to spend $350-$500 to have two people “work 45 min.” (removing some plugs, starting the filter, and putting minimal shock in your pool) than this is the company for you. Bizarrely the management specified that they didn’t charge me for the shock, so according to them that is all labor cost which makes even less sense. So imagine my unpleasant surprise when I came home to a pool that looked untouched ie. visible dirt around the pool (they couldn’t even be bothered to blow off the patio) and, worse, pieces of return valve plug storage strewn around. The fact that management just defended this shoddy work, says all you need to know about this company.

We bought a home 7 years ago with a pool that Backyard Creations had built. We have kept with them for pool opening, closing and bi-monthly pool services. The team is always on time, professional and attentive to issues that have come up. I have absolutely NO misgivings on the selection of having them help us maintain this pool. A great group of people from the front office to the team on the ground.
