  Super happy with the great service we received with Auburn Home and Energy and Dan and his helper great job. These guys took pride in their work, I could tell. Very happy with our Kuma Cascade insert. We were leaning towards the Alpine, but opted for the larger Cascade insert because of more capacity for longer burns, and larger length wood. We also know the limits of an insert, so if the power goes out and we cant use the blower, this unit puts out great radiant heat. Also, this allows us to run the blower at lower speeds, thus keeping noise down. Our home is 2300 sq feet, and it had no trouble getting our thermostat up to 76 degrees in no time. The adjustments on the air intake are fantastic, as we can easily adjust the oxygen to the perfect amount for a low and slow burn. If you really need to heat up your home quickly, run the blower on high and you will see a 5-10 degree increase in temp in no time. I love seeing the secondary burn air tubes on top, as the oxygen will reignite the smoke, quite a beautiful dance the flames provide. Outside, their is no visible smoke coming out of the chimney once you activate the catalytic combustor. Compared to other wood burning homes in my neighborhood, they smoke like a train. Lastly, I was surprised to see coals leftover in the morning, as this yielded a 10 hour burn time. Super easy to get the fire going again. In conclusion, I highly recommend Auburn Home and Energy and the Kuma Cascade wood insert. I wouldn't waste your money on the Alpine. And, this is the last year for the rebate, so I will see $2000 back on my tax return. Cheers!

  Great team and great customer support. Had a new quadrafire pioneer II installed as our old fire box had a crack. Dan the owner got the unit in quick and helped with follow up questions without a fuss. Highly recommend them for any fire place need or service.

  Dan was in lockstep with our contractor as we worked to get a new woodstove installed. He was extremely kind, professional and knowledgeable. Made multiple visits to the house anytime we needed his opinion. Auburn home and energy center is an experienced local business that does what it takes to get heating systems installed. Highly recommend!

  Edited review. After a series of miscommunications, I got hold of Dan (this was yesterday 8 March). He promised to come Saturday between 9:30 and 10:00. He arrived at 9:30 did his troubleshooting, identified the problems, replaced a couple of parts and just like that my stove is running like new. Dan is a very sharp and very patient. Anyone influenced by my previous negative review I will say this: I admit when I am wrong and I was wrong. Thank you Dan.

  So happy to have found Auburn Home and Energy to help us with replacing an old woodstove. They are super pro, know the industry well, and installed everything with great care and on time. We got a quadra fire and all new piping and chimney. Now much safer, warmer, and more efficient. Highly recommend these guys!!
