  Extremely Disappointed — $8,000 Sauna Disaster & Zero Support I paid nearly $8,000 for a sauna from this company, and it’s been one of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had. First, the sauna was assembled incorrectly, which caused severe heat damage to my hardwood floor (see photos). There’s now a large burn mark where the unit sat something that should never happen if the product was properly installed and safe. Now, just a few months later the sauna doesn’t even work. It constantly throws an overheating error despite not being in use or even reaching operating temperature. I’ve been calling and emailing for weeks—zero meaningful response. No technician has come out, no inspection of the damage, no effort to fix the malfunctioning unit. For the price I paid, this level of service is absolutely unacceptable. If you’re considering buying from this company, be warned: you’re on your own once they’ve taken your money.

  Customer service and repair is awful. Takes forever to schedule an appointment and then you’re lucky if they even show or respond to communication. Wish I had put purchased a fireplace literally anywhere else.

  We bought our Sundance Denali hot tub from Aqua Quip 5 years ago and buy our supplies from their Seattle 1st avenue store (their staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful). That said, it is a recent incident that prompts me to write this review. Our thermostat had recently become stuck at 104 degrees but we couldn't figure out how or why. We called the store for a service appointment this past Friday and were told I would hear back that day or potentially Monday since the service team doesn't work on weekends. No problem! Saturday, I get a text from Jeff @ Aqua Quip. He was reviewing the service order and had a few questions ... would I call him back. During our conversation, he was able to troubleshoot and guide me on how to reset the unit. It was not a guarantee but quite possibly a very simple fix that might not require a service call. His initiative in calling me off hours and willingness to troubleshoot our issue over the phone thus eliminating any need for a house call, saved us hundreds of dollars for what turned out to be a very simple fix. His honesty and integrity are to be commended. He could have easily come out for the appointment, fiddled around for 30 minutes, billed us and I would not have known the difference! What a great experience - Thank you, Jeff and Aqua Quip!

  Thanks to Aqua Quip we are the proud owners of two new efficient and beautiful gas inserts for our fireplaces. I thought they were just decorative. No way, I was so wrong. These inserts make our home so warm. I had to switch from sweatshirt to T-shirt. The fireplaces were just sitting there not doing anything useful. Jeff and Brian at Aqua Quip gave me a gas fireplace insert quote within 2 days of contact. I had called and emailed 6 other fireplace companies. No one got back to me except Aqua Quip and one other. Jeff from Aqua Quip came out and his bid was $2K lower than the other company's bid on email only, they never even came out. Today Phil from Aqua Quip rocked a very tough install in our 1950 home with very little access to the fireplaces. He was on time, pleasant, clean and very fast to boot. The inserts are so handsome and we are feeling toasty. Thank you again Aqua Quip for such a fantastic customer experience from start to finish!!!

  Just wanting to comment on 1 year of owning a Finnleo sauna from Aqua Quip--we love it! We retrofitted a closet in our home gym to hold the sauna (added a dedicated outlet) and it fits in perfectly. Now that the days are truly grey and dreary it's wonderful to come home to and shake off work and relax into the evening. So glad we made this purchase! And like everything from Aqua Quip, it was 100% easy, from purchase to install. Thank you!
