  My experience with Ambler fireplace has been extremely disappointing. The fireplace installed in our new home by Ambler Fireplace has never been safe to use due to a strong, abnormal odor reported within the warranty period. We followed all guidance from their technicians, including multiple extended "burn-offs", but the issue was never resolved. We eventually hired a third-party inspector who immediately spotted flammable insulation (fire code violation) surrounding the installed fireplace. Ambler Fireplace's own technician confirmed the unsafe insulation as well as a faulty glass component. Despite this, Ambler fireplace refused to fix the issues, citing warranty timing and denying responsibility. Most concerning is the lack of accountability and follow-up, even after confirmed safety risks and exposure concerns for our family, including our infant child. Base on our experience, I cannot recommend Ambler Fireplace.

  I wanted to tell you how great ambler fireplace is. We had a home built in the 2000s and apparently it had the wrong pressure regulator. From day one. It finally died and ambler figured out that it was wrong and now it is fantastic. Didn’t work correctly for 20 years. Oh my. Great people. They came back and corrected it perfectly. I always wondered why it had so little heat.

  We contracted Ambler Fireplace to install a Quadrafire wood stove insert inside an existing masonry fireplace. Mike was excellent to work with. He listened to what our needs were and proposed the best options for our specific scenario. He worked with us to get the necessary permits and even worked directly with the township when they had questions about the project. We wanted to have a fresh air intake for the stove but our ventable area to the outside of our house was not large enough to fit the necessary ductwork. Mike worked to create a solution that would give us this option within the existing ash cleanout in our chimney. During the process, Mike was readily available to answer any questions we had and after installation, mike was still just as available. Many contractors just disappear from availability after the job is complete. Not Ambler. Once we started burning wood, Mike was just as available to help guide us in getting the most efficient burns from the stove, how to keep the glass clean, and even where to get wood and how to tell if it is properly seasoned. Overall we were exceptionally pleased with Ambler Fireplace and would highly recommend them to anyone considering fireplace work.

  😡Don't purchase any gas fireplace from Ambler fireplace and patio !! I'm a 70 year old disabled veteran, my wife is 76 years old veteran my mother's 99 years old . We are without a working gas fireplace Purchased at Ambler Fireplace & Patio , Ambler pa since November 10, 2025 . Ms Kristen scheduled someone to come to my home and Repair the broken fireplace on December 19th 2025. I was lead to believe that this repair date would be honored . On December 9, 2025 I called Ms Kristen to make sure my repair date would be kept as agreed, only to find that Ms Kristen removed my work order without my knowledge . She stated no one would be coming to fix my fireplace, She said it was to far for a repair person to come to my home. I paid $5,600 for a fireplace that is not working and Amber fireplace& patio refuses to honor their repairs agreement at the time of purchase, This is elderly abuse . It's cold and frezzing temperatures , with no heat coming from my fireplace . I will be contacting the senior citizens hotline, the governor's senior citizens hotline, the Better Business Bureau, the PA Attorney General's office until I get someone from Ambler fire and Patio to fix my fireplace , I will not give up!!!! I will make them do the right thing and honor their repair agreements at the time they pitch the purchase of this fireplace. 😠Very unsatisfied with the product and the company Mr Gross

  Our salesman Tom was very accommodating and patient. He made sure that we selected the right product, with the best options, to satisfy all our concerns and needs, plus fit our budget. His work and attention to detail are highly commendable. We did have a couple of hiccups as far as scheduling the installation. For two instances we were scheduled as the second job of the day for the installation team. Both times we were put off because the first jobs of each day ran longer than expected. That was frustrating. When our installation date finally came up (as the first job of the day), our installers (Tom and Mike) were VERY professional and thorough. They apologized profusely for our scheduling frustrations. They explained what they were doing step by step and answered all my questions. They made the experience very positive and the installation looks SO good. The end product made us forget the scheduling disappointments. I expressed to Tom (Sales) that the quality of the installation delivered such a terrific overall impression. It totally wiped out all the frustrations from the scheduling issues. All forgiven. I highly recommend Ambler Fireplace without any hesitations. They completely made amends and we are completely satisfied with the entire process.
