  Our fireplace is a year old and was installed by the builder. On a hot summer day I was sitting in our living room and the circulation fan came on. The fireplace was not operating at the time. I turned off the pilot light and the issue was resolved. Filed a warranty claim with the builder and was contacted by this company and was told this happens when it is hot outside and normal. What??? Not our first gas fireplace and never experienced this issue. Seems to be a cheap brand. I asked for an explanation in writing and it took two months. Funny, in the email I received from the company they suggested they service the fireplace every 1-3 years by them. Seriously? In three years we will be replacing the fireplace with a reputable brand!

  Alpine Fireplaces – Boise serviced our fireplace on 11/13/24, and we recommend them. Here's why: Our home was built in late 2010 and Alpine installed the Alpine Fireplace in our home. It has worked flawlessly since (other than replacing the fan twice). In early November it would not stay lit and then would not re-light. The fireplace has never been serviced, which is something we never considered (bad choice on our part). The Alpine technician was punctual, pleasant, and professional. He worked on our fireplace for several hours ... diagnosing the issue, replacing the wire to the wall switch, the wall switch, and the gas valve; cleaning all the fireplace components, and repainting some portions of the fireplace interior. The charge was $394. The problem returned, and I called and spoke with a manager. He reviewed the service order and the issue with me, and determined the new valve was defective. He scheduled an appointment for yesterday and the technician changed out the defective valve and rechecked everything to ensure it was operating properly. There were no additional charges. The fireplace now works perfectly. The reason we rated Alpine with a "5" is because of how they responded to the faulty new valve after the first service call. Stuff happens and sometimes new parts are defective ... what's important to us is how a company responds when that happens. Alpine responded calmly, objectively, and with the concern and professionalism one hopes to receive.

  Had my Alpine fireplace serviced ads I do every couple of years. Service went fine. Started using the fireplace about a month later and it intermittently turned of and would not automatically restart. So I called Alpine and explained the witnessed behavior. They sont out a couple of technicians within a day. The technicians diagnosed the problen ant took care of it. The call was considered part of the original service call. That in and of itself speaks highly of Alpine and their consideration for the customer. Highly recommend Alpine product and service!!!

  We worked with Andrew to have a new wood stove installed and everything was done perfectly, install technicians did a professional job and Andrew helped us choose the best size stove which was exactly what we needed. Alpine fireplace and there team went way above & beyond to get us a nice install and know what they are doing. We will continue to use them for any of our stove needs and highly recommend them.
