Would give 0 stars if I could. I tried to sort this out and give them the benefit of the doubt, but days later I still think back to this horrid experience. Went to this tile store to shop for tile for our bathroom floors and shower walls. When entering the store, there were 4 employees all sitting at the front desk, on their phones, that literally glared up, made eye contact with us, and then looked right back down at their phones, as if we were an inconvenience… Not a single word out of any of them. Asking questions about the tile was like pulling teeth. When asking about a polished tile, the lady literally said “polished tile? I am not sure what that is. But you do know we have to order these and don’t just have them available here.” I am not sure if it was because we were female or what that remark was about. But… obviously? We know how ordering tile works. We were well aware we weren't shopping at Lowe’s or Home Depot, nor were we expecting to just load our car up with boxes of tile they had lying around the same day we purchased it. Plus, that remark didn’t even pertain to the question I asked. I can definitely relate to the other review about forcing them to accept your money because it did NOT seem like they want business AT ALL!! Strangest encounter we have ever had at any business. The gentleman that sells the tile could not even get us prices per square foot!? I am seriously not sure how this place is in business. How can you not quote a tile that you have displayed at your store front? I am still mind blown days later. Avoid this tile company at all cost. Just save your gas, time and effort to give them money… because they do not want it. Had positive encounters at the surrounding tile stores. So just drive down the street a little ways more for a way better experience!

First time visiting this establishment. Was greeted at the door and asked how can I help? WOW! What a first impression! From there, was assisted by Mr. Matt who went out of his way to provide excellent customer service. Finally, a business who gets it! Wish more business' would cater to customers like Acme Brick. I highly recommend them to all.

Great experience as a homeowner picking brick for a residing, walked in with my family including three kids and was greeted and immediately taken care of. Lots of help and tips, great doing business here. I just have to wonder if the negative reviews were a fluke during covid times.

I've never tried so hard to give a company my money and never had a company try so hard to not take it. I spent a couple of months trying to get help to do a brick match on my existing home so that we could match anew addition to our home. Sent texts to the salesperson, got one reply and then radio silence. Went to the store and gave my phone/email a half dozen times and I always had to follow up after I heard nothing. Two months into this nightmare, my builder and I started getting vocal and talked to the manager. Only then, did I start to get responses and samples. Once I found the brick that was the closest, I had to call the brickyard to understand what to order. It was then that I found out the brick samples that they sent me were no longer available - even though I had just received the samples. The next month or so was ME looking through brick manufacturers websites to try and do my own match over the computer then going through the whole process again as ACME was the only dealer that could get the brick I wanted samples of. Once I finally found something that was close enough, Acme charged me a $75 delivery fee that they had previously offered to waive and then was over a week late in getting the brick to me. This was on top of a $650 freight charge to get the brick from manufacturer to the ACME yard. At this point, it wasn't worth the fight. The ONLY bright spot to the whole ordeal was that the last person that helped me DID answer my texts, calls and emails, so thank you Anna. Look, if you build 100 homes or more a year, I'm sure Acme is delightful to work with. To anyone else, look at the reviews - they speak for themselves. They are indicative of my exact experience and more than likely yours - should you choose to use them. Both my builder and our designer told me ahead of time that this would be my experience but I'm stubborn and my current house had acme brick and I thought I would go with them. There are other suppliers of brick in the area. Start at ANY of them first and save yourself a lot of headache. If my house hadn't previously had acme brick on it, I wouldn't have tried so hard to work with a company that obviously had very little interest in working with me.
